About snikle

Not that you really care but this seems the common thing to do, and so I do. I go by the name snikle (yeah, that’s right, no “C”) on the net and you the image to the right here as my avatar.

I am a US soldier serving in the US Army, currently deployed to Iraq. Been serving for over a decade. I am originally from Illinois, a lucky and proud dad, I vote, I watch Fox News and CNN, I love movies and music. Yeah I am a white guy too and a veteran (I am on the DHS watch list!) My wife would tell you I am a psycho conservative, but then she says she is the funniest person she knows. So, yeah (wow I sound like my teenage daughter).

I used to play role-playing games when I was younger and I am now finding my way back there. RPGs are great mental exercise and it is sad they get such a bad rap in our society while some asshat who shoots his entire family is “troubled” and we should feel sorry for him and he needs help. Yeah, some in our society are troubled (read: stupid).

I feel that our government has lost sight of what the founding father’s entended and we need serious reform to get us on the right path.

I am not a hugely religious person but I do believe in God. I do not think we need a established church to tell us how to live. Personally I hope God trusts us enough to have provided us with our own reasoning skills to know what is right and what is wrong and how we should live. Do I not like churches? Nah, to each his own, just do not blast me because I do not feel the need to attend your social gathering.

To be brief, this is where I stand.

This is what I am FOR:

• Small Federal Government
• A return to the States the ability to regulate themselves and not be coerced into supporting Federal rules (see Commerce Clause)
• Personal Responsibility for your actions
• A Harley Softail in my driveway
• A Flat Tax system where everyone pays equally
• Less regulation on businesses who operate in the U.S.
• Individual Liberty to the point that is does not affect another person’s Individual Liberty
• Strong National Security along with sound and effective Border Security (Landmines people!!!)
• Free Markets and Capitalism
• MapTool
• Term Limits
• Shooting Lobbyists
• Supporting our allies that in turn support/help us
• Legalization of some drugs
• 2nd Amendment rights
• Klokwerks
• The English Language is THE Official Language
• Helping people who stand up and are willing to work to help themselves
• Frivolous Lawsuits
• Freedom of Religion
• Ignoring People when they say they say they are offended by words or images (please grow the hell up)
• The Abolition of ACORN and primarily the ACLU, oh, PETA, UAW, and Teamsters too while we are at it
• My right to blow your head into teeny pieces of gore when you come on my property illegally

This is what I am AGAINST:

• First and foremost: STUPID PEOPLE
• The idea that is it MY responsibility to take care of the less fortunate in society
• Big Government
• Supporting those “Allies” that refuse to support/help us
• Reverse Racism (see….oh yeah, everything in our world today)
• Communism/Socialism
• Super crunchy game mechanics
• Universal Health Care
• America haters – especially our own citizens (Garofalo, Depp and Penn)
• A Czar anything
• Unlimited Welfare
• Political correctness
• Underage abortion without parental notification, unless there is evidence of abuse, which should then be investigated)
• Spiders and Snakes
• The Weakening or “wussification” of America
• Anti-military folks
• WotC
• The Global Warming hoax
• Liberal indoctrination (e.g. brainwashing, or the PC term social engineering) of today’s youth by EVERYONE
• Homosexual agenda being pushed in the public schools and our society (I do not care what you do in the privacy of your own home, but don’t tell my kid it is ok for one butt pirate to plow another)

So if you don’t like it, no one is forcing you to come and read my thoughts. Do us both a favor….don’t.
