Ok, so Sam let me borrow A Walk to Remember, and I have to say it is honestly a good film. Course, I believe any film that can make you feel something, pull your emtions to come to life, is a good one. So take it for what it is worth. It really is a good film, has all the workings of a good story, a tragic love (oh so like the classics), and good solid characters that grow through the story. It is quite sad, and for me, someone who has never lost someone they are very close with, it is almost painful to watch at times, just because your mind start a wanderin’ with bad thoughts. I thought Mandy Moore did a good job in the role, but I think the real winner here was Shane West, the male lead. He certainly dove into this role and did a great job portraying a young man that has to suffer as his heart is ripped out. Anyway, if you have not seen this film, Sam highly recommends it. In fact, he said “It is terrible, made me cry, so sad.”
And that, my friends, is always a good recommendation.
