100 Push Ups / 200 Sit Ups

Epic Fail.  Tuesday I did Day One of the 200 Sit Ups program, Wednesday I did Day Two of the 100 Push Ups program and then Thursday hit. We did a road match, not a long one, only 6 miles. Doesn’t sound like much does it? It really isn’t, but when you add in  your IBA (body armor), ACH (helmet), assault pack (back pack with about 30  pounds of gear in it), and your rifle, all that weight really adds up. Plus, technically I am not supposed to do road marches due to my profile from my surgery (essentially my feet did not heal correctly and now I get extreme pain when I am on my feet for long periods of time or for long distances).

Needless to say, I have been hurting pretty bad form the road march, and gotten home late, been tired…..hell, being lazy I guess, and I just not gotten back into the swing of things. I have a four day weekend right now, so maybe I will get back into it…

    1. Thanks! After my surgery, I am limited in my running, I can get a short jog in before my feet hurt too much, but I can still get a little in here and there. Once I get my tread mill situated in my garage, I will be able to do a little more.
