Half Completed Works: Sci-fi mapping

Sci-fi! Awesome!

I love sci-fi stuff, my real weakness. I like fantasy stuff as well, but oh no, science fiction is my sucker punch. My other weakness is maps, I just love them. So at a point a few years ago I was starting to really love MapTools and I wanted to help my friend Trevor (also the lead programmer of MapTools) and so I started work on an adventure I later released called “Descent to Dallas Stations

As I began work on that project, I started exploring science fiction maps, which are vastly different in style and feel than the vast majority of fantasy stylized maps. As a test, I created this map. I tested various effects, such as lighting, in this map that I later used in the Dallas Station map.
