Half Completed Works: Fields of Battle

Fields of Battle was my 2006 attempt to take the Fantasy Grounds virtual tabletop and expand its use to include board games, I don’t think it ever really took off. 😉

It is essentially a rip off of the Risk board game with, what I think, is a very cool and stylized map. In the package, I included a map, tokens for use to represent the HQ and all the armies on the map and the rules were built into the in-Fantasy-Grounds rules structure so players could pull them up while in the game. I did manage to play the game once and I thought it worked fairly well and showcased the vtt’s ability to work with more things than just role-playing games.
